Why teams switch from AiSensy

It usually starts with the second or third person who needs to answer WhatsApp.

Your 7th agent costs nothing

AiSensy Basic and Pro include an owner and five agents, then charge $20 per extra agent each month. On Social Intents Basic and up, seasonal staff, managers and part-timers all get access at no extra cost.

No new dashboard to babysit

Conversations arrive in a Slack channel, a Microsoft Teams channel or a Google Chat space, threaded per customer. People reply where they already are, and the customer sees a normal WhatsApp reply.

AI included, not an add-on

AiSensy sells its chatbot builder ($80/mo) and AI Agent ($50/mo) separately. Our AI chatbot runs on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, learns from your website and hands off to a person when it should.

Guardrails on every campaign

Pre-flight checks show who’s skipped and why, quiet hours hold sends outside 9 AM–8 PM by default, and the frequency guard stops you over-messaging the same people.

Bring the whole team, not just five agents

Unlimited agents from the Basic plan, with a 14-day free trial and no credit card.

How to switch from AiSensy

Five steps, in the order that protects your number’s quality rating and your opt-out list.

  1. Settle your AiSensy wallet

Check your WhatsApp Conversation Credits balance and plan your last AiSensy campaigns around it, so you aren’t leaving prepaid credit behind.

  2. Export contacts, tags and opt-outs

Export contacts with their tags, attributes and opt-in source. Keep your opt-out list separate so it’s imported as opted out, not lost.

  3. Connect your number to Social Intents

Start the free trial and connect WhatsApp with Meta’s Embedded Signup. On Meta’s new account model your number can be shared with more than one partner, so both tools can run while you test. On the previous model, ask AiSensy to release the number first.

  4. Recreate templates and automations

Rebuild the templates you actually use from our library of 90 ready-made templates, resubmit them to Meta, and replace keyword chatbots with an AI chatbot trained on your site.

  5. Invite everyone, then cut over

Add your whole team, connect Teams, Slack or Google Chat, send a test broadcast and remove AiSensy’s access in Meta Business Suite.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about leaving AiSensy.

Is Social Intents a good AiSensy alternative?
Yes, for teams that have outgrown agent add-ons and want WhatsApp answered from the tools they already use. Social Intents is built on the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), includes unlimited agents from the Basic plan, and sends every conversation to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat or a web inbox. AiSensy remains the better pick if you need Click-to-WhatsApp ads, catalogs or WhatsApp Payments.
Is Social Intents an official WhatsApp provider?
Yes. Social Intents is a Meta Tech Provider; you connect your number through Meta’s Embedded Signup and messages go through the official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). Meta bills message fees to your own WhatsApp Business Account.
How much does AiSensy cost compared with Social Intents?
As of November 2026, AiSensy’s USD pricing lists Basic at $45/month, Pro at $99, Premium at $299 and Unlimited at $899 on monthly billing, with extra agents at $20 each per month and WhatsApp messages paid from a prepaid wallet. Social Intents Basic is $69/month billed annually with unlimited agents and an AI chatbot included, and Meta bills message fees to your own account. Check aisensy.com for current prices.
Does AiSensy add a markup to WhatsApp message fees?
AiSensy publishes its own wallet rates. For Indian recipients it lists ₹1.09 per marketing message and ₹0.145 per utility, authentication or service message, while Meta’s INR rate card effective October 1, 2026 lists ₹0.8631 and ₹0.115. With Social Intents, Meta bills you directly at its own rates.
Can I move my WhatsApp number from AiSensy to Social Intents?
Yes. The number belongs to your business. On Meta’s new account model, rolling out from September 23, 2026, your number can be shared with more than one partner, so you can connect Social Intents with Embedded Signup and switch over without downtime. If your business is still on the previous model, ask AiSensy to release the number first. Use up or settle any remaining wallet credits before you leave.
Will my templates carry over?
Templates live in the Messaging account where they were created. If AiSensy created that account for you, they won’t appear in Social Intents automatically, and Meta’s Template Migration API only copies approved templates between accounts your business owns. The quickest route is to recreate them from our 90-template library and resubmit them; we show rejection reasons in plain language if one comes back.
Will switching get my WhatsApp number banned?
No. Moving providers isn’t a policy issue. Numbers get restricted for messaging people who didn’t opt in and for poor quality ratings. Social Intents keeps opt-in evidence on each contact, processes STOP opt-outs automatically, holds sends for quiet hours and keeps monthly broadcast limits below your Meta messaging tier.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days with no credit card required. Connect WhatsApp, invite your whole team and answer a test conversation from Slack or Teams before you decide.
